Hebrews 10

Hebrews 10:37-39
"For in just a little while, the Coming One will come and not delay. And my righteous ones will live by faith. But I will take no pleasure in anyone who turns away." But we are not like those who turn away from God to their own destruction. We are the faithful ones, whose souls will be saved."

We who know Him will believe and our hearts will be transformed. Faith should be our driving force that motivates us to love God and people, when that happens we feel the peace that comes from knowing Him. We can't live on the roller coaster of this world but we must live on the hope that we have in Christ so that our faith is seen by others and not just something we talk about. As it says in Romans 10:17 "So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ." The more we learn the more we can have knowledge of Christ and the more knowledge we have the more we desire to apply that knowledge into our daily living. So I say as we accept Jesus as our Lord we should also accept the responsibility to love Him and have the faith to show others that Christ lives in us and that our faith is what drives our very lives. Amen

Hebrews 6:10-12

Hebrews 6:10-12 "For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for Him and how you have shown your love to Him by caring for other believers, as you still do. Our great desire is that you will keep on loving others as long as life last, in order to make certain that what you hope for will come true. Then you will not become spiritually dull and indifferent. Instead, you will follow the example of those who are going to inherit God's promises because of their faith and endurance."

It is so important that we love others as we ourselves are growing to be like Jesus. When we work hard to understand God's word we love others because we first show love to God. By living out or being obedient we show our love to Him and that love is given to others because what is in us is becoming stronger and that is what we desire to do. That desire keeps us seeking all that God has for us and that seeking fuels the Holy Spirit in us to be spiritually alive and living our new transformed lives so we do what it says at the end of verse 12, "Then you will not become spiritually dull and indifferent. Instead, you will follow the example of those who are going to inherit God's promises because of their faith and endurance." Amen

Philemon 1:6-7

Hello everyone, sorry it has been a long time since I have posted anything. It is not do to lack of reading or listening to God's word, it is do to my broken back and neck that happened while my wife and I were horse back riding for our 9th anniversary. If you are a friend of mine on facebook you all know how blessed I am and fortunate to have only fractured my c-4, and the bone process of my T-5-6-7-8, and L-4. It has made it very difficult to type or sit long enough to be at the computer but I as I get antsy sitting around for 12 weeks I will try as much as possible to get stuff out on my blog.

Philemon 1:6-7 "And I am praying that you will put into action the generosity that comes from your faith as you understand and experience all the good things we have in Christ. Your love has given me much joy and comfort, my brother, for your kindness has often refreshed the hearts of God's people."

This is so important as we continue to grow and develop in our faith in Christ. It says; pray and put into action the generosity of your faith, and that is incredible to think about. We can enjoy all the good things that come from Christ and of them all the most incredible is ever lasting life. As I am at home with several fractures in my neck and back I am so thankful for what I have in Christ. I have life either way and the peace that has come from the Spirit in me has been incredible. When I start thinking of what happened and I start to get down I thank God and I am reminded how lucky I am to be able to walk and have a God that loves me so much and a Savior that surrendered everything for me and all people.

What I always try and relay to people is that our walk with Christ is not just for us, we get the benefits of eternal life and the peace but our walk is for others to see Christ in us and for them to see the love we have for people. Verse 7 hit the nail on the head, "Your love has given me much joy and comfort, my brother, for your kindness has often refreshed the hearts of God's people." Philemon got it and I want to as well, have a great day and make sure you are talking and praying daily and never forget to be thankful. Amen
