Suddenly, a man with leprosy approached Him and knelt before Him. “Lord,” the man said, “if you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean.” Jesus reached out and touched him. “I am willing,” He said. “Be healed!” And instantly the leprosy disappeared.”
I love this, Jesus says, 'I am willing...' we must realize that Jesus is just as willing in our lives as well. When we open His word and ask, seek, and knock, He is right there waiting to say 'I am willing." His love doesn't change for us, He is just looking for a relationship with us. One that is open to ask Him anything and believe in everything that He is.
He is the only Son of God and He came to us not only to show us how to live loving God, but to take our sins and give us a way home to the Father. We needed that connect from this crazy world back to the Father, so Jesus came and showed His love for the Father and us. In Matthew chapter 7 verse 20 it says, “Yes, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit, so you can identify people by their actions.” See Jesus not only talked about it, He showed His fruit by coming as a baby and only doing what the Father showed Him. He knew that is what needed to be done, so He did it. Merry Christmas, means so much more than presents and a day off, it means Jesus is waiting for our 'If you are willing?' Jesus loves us and is willing so believe in Him and accept Him, then live the way He showed, loving all. Amen and Merry Christmas.
