Matthew 8:2-3 NLT
Suddenly, a man with leprosy approached Him and knelt before Him. “Lord,” the man said, “if you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean.” Jesus reached out and touched him. “I am willing,” He said. “Be healed!” And instantly the leprosy disappeared.”

I love this, Jesus says, 'I am willing...' we must realize that Jesus is just as willing in our lives as well. When we open His word and ask, seek, and knock, He is right there waiting to say 'I am willing." His love doesn't change for us, He is just looking for a relationship with us. One that is open to ask Him anything and believe in everything that He is.

He is the only Son of God and He came to us not only to show us how to live loving God, but to take our sins and give us a way home to the Father. We needed that connect from this crazy world back to the Father, so Jesus came and showed His love for the Father and us. In Matthew chapter 7 verse 20 it says, “Yes, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit, so you can identify people by their actions.” See Jesus not only talked about it, He showed His fruit by coming as a baby and only doing what the Father showed Him. He knew that is what needed to be done, so He did it.  Merry Christmas, means so much more than presents and a day off, it means Jesus is waiting for our 'If you are willing?' Jesus loves us and is willing so believe in Him and accept Him, then live the way He showed, loving all. Amen and Merry Christmas.

Romans 5:11 NLT
“So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God.”

We all need to see the word "rejoice" because it is something to celebrate with cheers and praises. Jesus came and made us not only friends but God's children. I love what it says in these next 2 verses; Romans chapter 8 verses 15-16, “So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when He adopted you as His own children. Now we call Him, “Abba, Father.” For His Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children.” Rejoice!!! We are family, so let's keep growing and living a way that shows it.  This is done by us studying His word, praying, and living it out.

Look what it says in John chapter 10 verse 27, “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.”
The Holy Spirit will guide us to all truth so we need stop and listen, we can't let the loudness of this world drown out His voice.  We take the effort to hear, then He knows us - that is our effort - then because of that relationship we follow Him.  I love the fact that it  is a relationship of love: Him teaching, guiding, serving, and doing so that we understand everything He has for us. Let's remember this as we continue to grow and reach new people for Christ.  I pray that we always rejoice in knowing how much He loves us.  Amen
