No one can know a person’s thoughts except that person’s own spirit, and no one can know God’s thoughts except God’s own Spirit. And we have received God’s Spirit (not the world’s spirit), so we can know the wonderful things God has freely given us.”
We don't need to wonder or struggle with seeking God, He has made it easy for us to know Him and see how to live for Him. He sent His one and only son so we could have hope and eternal life. Look at what Jesus says in John chapter 16 verses 7-8; “But in fact, it is best for you that I go away, because if I don’t, the Advocate won’t come. If I do go away, then I will send Him to you. And when He comes, He will convict the world of its sin, and of God’s righteousness, and of the coming judgment.”
It is better for us that Jesus followed fully what the Father told Him because we now have the Holy Spirit who helps us see Jesus and our new life clearly. As we open God's word and study it, the spirit helps us in our transformation. The last part of the verse says; "...And we have received God’s Spirit (not the world’s spirit), so we can know the wonderful things God has freely given us.” We can know and He has given it to us freely, why do we wait? Let's allow the Spirit to work and guide us to share and reach the people that don't know Jesus as well as the people that know Him but still struggle with peace and joy. I pray today that we all keep our eyes focused on the prize and not get caught up in the circumstances that this world might bring. In Jesus name I pray. Amen
