Philemon 1:6 “And I am praying that you will put into action the generosity that comes from your faith as you understand and experience all the good things we have in Christ.”
Everything that has to do with the Lord requires action. Paul prays that we put our generosity into action. I feel as we open God’s word and pray we will truly grow to understand that all we do is done to glorify the Lord. We will be generous in our giving because it will help the Good News be spread all over the world. We will be generous in our service because we will understand what joy we can have by giving our time. We will be generous in our love because people will matter more than ourselves. When we mature in our walk we become complete in all areas, turning to God for everything. Our walk should be totally unselfish thinking of others. True generosity is a great indication of Spiritual Growth and as we grow and learn we should be striving to be as complete as we can be. Open your hearts as you grow and let Christ fill your heart with all the things that develop true Christian character. Amen
