Proverbs 14:12 “There is a path before each person that seems right, but it ends in death.”
Are we confused on the path we are on? If we are not focused on the Lord and walking as Christ did our path is wrong. Satan can work in our minds and make us feel good about the things we do that are for our own gratification. This is why it is so important to open God’s word and learn from Him.
In verse 27 it say, “Fear of the Lord is a life-giving fountain, it offers escape from the snares of death.”
Seeking wisdom and knowledge from God and understanding how important obedience is, is key to escape the snares of death. When we read and actually put into practice what we learn we can see the change in our behavior. We can feel peace that comes from truly living for God and not ourselves. Empty yourself everyday and fill up with God and feel the Holy Spirit move you. Amen
