Psalm 91:1-2 “Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; He is my God, and I trust Him.”
Do we trust Him enough to truly surrender to Him and put all our trust in Him? This is tough for us especially when the world is happening so fast and is full of worldly pleasures.
In chapter 90 verse 12 it says, “Teach us to realize the brevity of life, so that we may grow in wisdom.” Brevity means short if any else needed to know like me. Do we understand how short our lives are? When we stop and slow down and trust in the Lord we can make a difference in the kingdom by our actions. We are given all we need by God and we have the perfect example in Christ to be warriors for Christ forgetting the worldly wisdom and seeking Godly wisdom.
I love what is says in chapter 91 verse 14, “The Lord says, ‘I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name.”
Who are we living for? Think about that as you struggle finding time to get in God’s word or pray or serve, or simply living Christ like. God did all He needs to do, the ball is in our court, how much do we want to fill ourselves with the Spirit of God? There is no limit when we say your will be done. Amen
